Teeth Whitening Smile Gallery<\/h1>\n

Jaren came to my office with one simple request. \u201cWhat can you do,\u00a0Dr. Klim<\/a>, to close the spaces between my front teeth.” Having completed hundreds of smile cases over the years, this has been one of the most common request. Fortunately we have incredible options to improve the alignment of teeth in the smile zone. A few years ago,\u00a0orthodontics<\/strong>was the only option. This can still be the best option in certain circumstances. However, it will depend on a few factors: 1. Is the current size of teeth in the smile zone ideal for the face? 2. Are the shapes of the smile teeth favorable or unfavorable? 3. Is there a desire to\u00a0whiten the smile zone teeth<\/a>\u00a0and if so can current whitening gels obtain the desired results or will they need more advance cosmetic treatments.<\/p>\n

When the teeth are ideal size and shape, then orthodontic closure is ideal if one is okay with wearing braces for a few months. If life style does not favor braces, then other good options are available. How ever let us consider a few other issues about Jaren\u2019s care. When the teeth are not ideal in size or shape or both, then closing the spaces can be done with bonding are\u00a0porcelain veneers<\/a>. Jaren chose braces for 12 months followed with\u00a0\u00a0teeth whitening<\/strong>\u00a0and veneers on the four upper front teeth. I determined from Jaren\u2019s smile zone diagnosis that the upper front teeth were to small for his face and jaw size. So it was decided to use braces to expand the back teeth to fill out the corner of his smile and align his front teeth so we could design the ideal proportion of tooth size for his face and smile. Following braces, the teeth were whitened with home teeth whitening gels for two weeks and then the front four teeth were conservatively designed for porcelain veneers. Jaren wanted the natural look, so the veneers where colored and texturized to harmoniously blended in with the rest of his teeth. As you can see with the retracted view, we were both very pleased with the end result. Thanks, Jaren, for the opportunity to make a difference with your smile and life.
