Orthodontics Smile Gallery<\/h1>\n

The first time I saw Ingrid, I knew her\u00a0smile makeover<\/strong>\u00a0would be one of the most challenging cases yet. After a thorough set of records, we decided a three-phase approach.<\/p>\n

The first phase involved orthodontic correction. Ingrid had too many teeth for her mouth, so we decided to remove several of them. The second phase consisted of gum alignment. Gum symmetry is often overlooked in the smile design process. Even with beautiful teeth, if the gums don\u2019t follow the smile line of the upper lip and tooth edge, there will be what we called “visual tension”. This can be compared to a painting or photograph with out the proper cropping.<\/p>\n

The final phase consisted of\u00a0neuromuscularly<\/a>\u00a0lengthening her face to establish ideal aesthetic proportions. This was accomplished with\u00a0\u00a0veneers<\/a>\u00a0on the front teeth and by building up the back teeth for a stable bite. Orthodontics was not enough to accomplish this final aesthetic result. As you can see, this aesthetic treatment was more than a smile makeover; it has changed Ingrid\u2019s life. This is what brings me the greatest satisfaction in what I do… changing lives though the smile.<\/p>\n
