Going for the Gold, again, Dr. Klim? Yes, Pat was a winner in 2002 at the Annual Smile Gallery Contest with the\u00a0American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry<\/a>\u00a0in Honolulu, HI.<\/p>\n

Pat was experiencing chronic bleeding gums and\u00a0breath odor, She decided that it was time to sever her relationship with the 28\u00a0crowns<\/a>\u00a0she had been married to for 30 years. All she could remember is the painful experience she had when she had her mouth restored the first time. She has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, but that day she melted in my chair! We developed a trusting relationship composed mostly of laughter therapy throughout the whole process. She brought her own wit, I had my own, and Mr. Bean had something to say when neither of us could talk.<\/p>\n

During her treatment, I found out that many of her crowns were leaking due to cement wash-out. Because of this, each crown I removed came off with a more powerful burst of the sample odor that we sniffed from her breath. I also saw that her gums were very red around the margins of her metal crowns, tipping me off to the fact that she was allergic to metal. Pat’s gums turned healthy pink after I placed her new\u00a0ceramic crowns<\/strong>. Gone were the\u00a0\u00a0bleeding gums, bad breath, and less than attractive teeth. She experienced a major transformation, which was important to her has a presenter and member of the National Speaker’s Association (www.nsaspeaker.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n
