Personal Pursuits

Destiny was meant for me and my fourth-grade friend, Karie. Twenty-seven years later, after completing our advanced degrees we became reacquainted through a unique series of events, and we decided to begin our life together. On-lookers jokingly said it would never work with both of us contributing two kitties to the union! Together, we have strong commitments to our family, friends, church, and adopted pets. We enjoy traveling, camping, remodeling our home, or just enjoying a good book together.

Educational Career

Founded and directed by James Klim DDS, the Klim Institute/CADStar’s is a dental postgraduate center with the purpose to develop and educate dentists and the dental team on systematic techniques to simplify chairside 3D and CAD/CAM (CEREC) dentistry though hands-on courses and online CEREC training.

With over 30 years of experience in adhesive and ceramic dentistry, Dr. Klim is respected for his sound restorative clinical and adhesive techniques that will make the dental restorative CAD/CAM process predictable for success in the clinical theater.
